Printiki photos: updating the memories in our home

Printiki photos

To me, having photos around the house really turns a house into a home. I love to personalise our home with photos that remind me of wonderful memories.

As I mentioned in last week’s catch up post, printing off photos is something I hardly do anymore. I’ve been noticing for quite some time that the photos in most of our frames are pretty old now. It’s such a shame to have so many memories just sat on my computer screen and not printed off for us to enjoy. When Printiki * got in touch wanting me to do a review of their photo printing service, I was more than happy to oblige!

I found the Printiki website really easy to use. They offer different sizes and styles of photo, but the standard 6×4 size is perfect for many of my frames, so that’s what I opted for.

Before I knew it, the Printiki photos had arrived in my letterbox. It was quite exciting to receive new photos to sit and look through. The quality was really good and it wasn’t an easy decision to choose which to put on display around the house.

You may notice a bit of a theme with some of them.

Well what can I say, she’s a cutie!

I’ve got a couple of hanging sets of frames and I thought it would be nice to fill them with some of our wedding photos.

It took me ages to cut the photos down to fit into the small frames, but it was well worth it. I love how the heart-shaped apertures on this set lend themselves so well to a wedding theme too! Sorry the quality of the photos isn’t the best on this image, by the way. The sun kept reflecting off the glass of the frames, so it doesn’t do the top couple of photos justice. Blogger problems!

I’m really happy with the service provided by Printiki and would be very happy to use them again.Β  Their Instagram provides lots of great photo inspiration too. They’ve kindly given me a code to share with my readers too, so you can all get free delivery: JNH6RXA6

Do you enjoy updating the photos around your home too? I need to do it more often!

*The photos discussed in this post were gifted to me by Printiki in exchange for an honest review.

I love photos! One time I printed out so many photos from different parts of my life (family, elementary school, high school,…) and I made a collage out of them. It was such a nice feature wall.
I totally agree they make a house home β™₯

Photos really do make a home your own! I love decorating my walls in my various uni rooms with photos and keepsakes because it really makes things feel more homely and personal! I haven’t tried out Printiki’s service before but now I think I’ll have to – the prints are great quality! I love your heart-shaped frame as well, perfect for wedding snaps as you say!

This post reminded me to get off my lazy butt and print some of my photography work! My walls are lacking decoration (yet I’m too cheap to buy a fancy painting, haha) so printing some of my own works will save me a fortune and keep my walls looking pretty.

Thanks for the reminders! I love the dangling heart frames!
